Every barista tamps slightly differently, and even the same barista’s pressure drifts across a long shift. The Pro Gen 6 takes that variable out of the equation by applying the same flat-bottom pressure every time, in a 1.3-second cycle, so extraction consistency depends on your dose and grind rather than how tired your arm is by 2pm. Pressure is adjustable from 1 to 30kg via the LCD display, and a one-touch cleaning setting makes daily upkeep straightforward.
It’s built to suit a wide range of portafilters — naked, single spout and double spout — and is compatible with baskets from 53mm to 58.3mm, including VST baskets.
