A genuine German-engineered heat exchanger machine that fits into a footprint most prosumer machines can’t — under 25cm wide — without giving up the E61 group or a proper 2.2L boiler.
The Mechanika VI Slim is built around ECM’s signature vertical stainless steel boiler, letting you brew and steam essentially at once, the way heat exchanger machines are designed to work. A three-position switch lets you select between three preset boiler temperatures, and gives you separate on/off control over pre-infusion and eco mode — a genuinely useful upgrade over older Mechanika models that required more manual monitoring. The E61 brew group runs on a chrome-plated brass construction with a pre-infusion cylinder, and dual pressure gauges on the front let you keep an eye on both the brew circuit and steam boiler.
Its detachable cup warming tray gives easy access to the water tank and the expansion valve for individual brew pressure adjustment, without needing to shift cups off the top of the machine first.
